it's a loveleigh life

"out of clutter, find simplicity. from discard, find harmony. in the middle of difficulty lies opportunity"

there are many little things about the RANDOMOSITY OF LIFE that i adore: music. photography. fall. animals. travel. food. sports. wine. celebrity gossip. decorating.
Thank you Lauren for sharing this. Gearing up for Cinco de mayo!
littlelaur:

so it’s almost cinco de mayo…
which means it’s time to get your margarita game down pat [i’ll admit, i need some practice.]
luckily, the wsj has a whole article on mastering the margarita with:
tons of amazing recipes [including the one below - i mean, a breakfast margarita?! who woulda thought?], instructions on how to make your own perfect margarita recipe [including how to select tequila, salt the rim, etc.], & more.
definitely worth a read if you’re celebrating on saturday…
6. Breakfast Margarita
A ‘rita that’s fresh and light enough to have instead of a bloody mary or a mimosa with breakfast.

1½ ounces blanco tequila

¾ ounce Cointreau

1 ounce mango nectar

1 ounce fresh tangerine juice

¾ ounce fresh lemon juice

¼ ounce ginger juice

Tangerine wedge

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a tangerine wedge.
